Dallas Black Dance Theatre is an internationally renowned modern dance company in the Dallas Arts District. The company has two (2) professional and three (3) student performing companies that provide over 600 services annually throughout the community. Dallas Black Dance Academy is the official school of DBDT and is housed in the historic, former Moorland YMCA building at 2700 Flora Street. DBDT is a resident performing company at the AT&T Performing Arts Center's Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre.
