Crete 1941 (free) Details

This is a 15-turn-version of Conflicts: Crete 1941, which is a turn based strategy game set on the Mediterranean Theater during the Second World War.

You are in command of the German forces taking part in an airborne invasion of Crete -- Operation Mercury -- the first mainly airborne invasion in military history. Thanks to their code breaking efforts British knew about the German airborne plan, but elite German paratroopers managed to capture the island in spite of the odds being against them.

In order to be a victorious general, you must learn to coordinate your attacks in two ways. First, as adjacent units give support to an attacking unit, keep your units in groups in order to gain local superiority.
